Cultural Awareness Training

For individuals, groups, businesses, schools, communities and corporate contexts

We offer our work in various formats to individuals and groups, & take time to tailor how we offer our wisdom to each context.

  • Lectures

  • Speaking on panels

  • Workshops

  • Interactive learning frameworks

  • 1:1 sessions (& 2:1 sessions)

  • 6 week Cultural Awareness Program

Our programs are an individually tailored, immersive experience designed to empower participants with an understanding of how to approach listening to & learning about Indigenous wisdom. We incorporate both the colonised idea of time ie working within specific agreed upon timeframes (for each session), AND are responsive to what arises in each session in alignment with our Indigenous understanding of the Dreaming, and how it reveals itself in the moment.

Our programs always open with an acknowledgement of Country and a smoking ceremony to open the learning space.

From then on sessions can include:

    • Learning the difference between a Welcome to Country and an Acknowledgement of Country and why it is important to understand and enact this basic Cultural protocol.

    • Learning the step by step process to empower everyone to share an Acknowledgement.

    • Interactive experience of Deep Listening - what is it, how to practice it and why is it so vital within Indigenous contextsDecolonising the mind, & tuning in to ancestral bloodlines.

    • Understanding the basic protocols of approaching and being with Wisdom Keepers & Elders. How to invite an Indigenous Wisdom Keeper.

    • Language and Song

Imuna works with her lover and father of her children, Eshua in these contexts. They often teach as a family, in real time, weaving their children’s presence into the sessions for a multi generational, tribal experience of wisdom sharing.

Eshua is a Murrawarri man (North Western NSW area) and is a counsellor with degrees in psychology and Indigenous Australian History (post Invasion). He is also a Didgeridoo sound healer and has worked extensively as an Indigenous lecturer, group facilitator and public speaker worldwide.
